Warm Greetings 😊

I; Mira Tamang;

First year student in Journalism at St. Xavier’s College, Kathmandu.

I have always believed that one should never downgrade their dream to fit the present reality while it’s all about upgrading one’s attitude, discipline and skills to match their destiny.

I can never be tired of being grateful towards motherly love and great support of Eva Ma’am and the team. I regard myself as the blessed child of them.

I have always dreamed of being the voice for the voiceless people. I see myself in the coming days as advocating for Human Rights. Connecting with people, listening to their stories and writing about them for their welfare, my studies helps a lot. In college, so far, I am taught with theories and principles of Journalism.

However, the practical stuff needs to be encouraged for this course. So, me being given a responsibility of writing an article once a week centering the study progress, activities and other achievements of home and children here from Nepal would surely help me in creating the base of my journalistic writing process.

This further helps in disseminating the updates to everyone too. Well, I am having my final exams of I year from this 17th of April for which preparation is on.

Along with my studies, I look forward to covering more stories, writing about them and disseminate it with every one of you.
